Joliette gained valuable experience by student teaching in schools in Boston and Sydney, Australia, before moving to NYC. She then taught for four years at Samara Community School, a public dual-language elementary school in the Bronx, where she primarily taught elementary while working with small groups in other grades.
After leaving the classroom, Joliette continued her career in education as a Curriculum Specialist at NY Sun Works, a science education nonprofit focused on climate education.
