Students and their families value The Green Tomato for its personalized tutoring and innovative learning approaches. We evaluate each student to determine their academic level, emotional state, strengths, and weaknesses—an optimal learning approach is then created. Reassessments are conducted continually to assess progress and performance.
A C A D E M I C T U T O R I N G
The Green Tomato tutors one-on-one or can arrange group tutoring for complementary age groups (PODS) by subject for grades 1 through 12.
Academic Coaching
Academic Coaching is one of our most inclusive services, created to reconstruct how a student approaches their education.
Art and Science Camp
Our camp incorporates STEM science projects with the arts. Children will explore different subject matters and test out science projects to find ways to decorate or add artistic styles to their work.
Standardized Testing
We understand how much confusion and anxiety standardized testing can generate. For many students, the ISEE marks their first experience with a high-stakes exam that has a real, foreseeable impact on their educational choices. Parents’ nerves are further frayed by competition for limited spaces at the most coveted private schools.
The Green Tomato tutors children in small PODs on a one-on-one basis and/or through Zoom and Google hangout.
